Red Rubber Dinghy
Not far from St. Gallen, water is the main theme - in a water park that offers so much variety it’s safe to assume that you’ll never get bored.
When the summer arrives at the Gesäuse there’s nothing like having fun in and around the water, but the park also offers activities for bad weather days.
During the hot summer days the best equipment for visiting the park is a bikini or a pair of swimming trunks. Even in case of bad weather, there are still plenty of activities to enjoy - how about going boating? While the covered stations are the perfect place for taking part in a craft project that is sure to get you through a grey day in the Gesäuse.
Water is for playing
The water park sets no limits for kids and their parents when it comes to splashing around. Create a dam for the water, redirect it or hop on one of the red rubber dinghies and float through the channel and its small, child-friendly waterfalls. In case this isn’t enough you can also go rafting or test your agility in the rope climbing area. In short, there’s a ton of adventure activities and relaxation opportunities for the whole family.
Loveliest terrace in the world
The Almhütte restaurant in the water park suits both small and large appetites. We say: make sure to sample the special treats and delicacies made using fresh ingredients from the region. The best thing about it? After a few hours in the water park the hearty meals and the cold drinks taste even better.
