BIO because it's cool
The food scandals of recent years got under Gundi and Walter's skin and they simply wanted to change something. "Goodbye factory farming!" and "Hello self-sufficiency!" was the motto.
"And it's really been about food," Walter explains of the turnaround. "We make high-quality food and the industry makes food. And that this high-quality food comes from the goat, that's how it turned out."
"The goat has come to us."
Organic was also always clear, because it's about quality. This is where feeding comes into play, because it makes a huge difference whether you have silage milk or good hay milk as a starting point for refinement. For organic quality, Gundi and Walter accept regular inspections, and for direct marketing, daily documentation is on the agenda. But that it pays off is confirmed not only by the customers, but also by their own - by now - very spoilt palate.
