After a break, continue south up to the ridge and from there head southwest towards the Großer Buchberg. Before the last uphill section, there is another downhill section, where you have to gain a lot of momentum on the way back or you will have to skin up again!
After about 2 1/2 hours we reach the summit, behind us a wonderful tour along the ridge with a fantastic panoramic view of the Gesäuse mountains. The way back is the same.
With a wonderful view of Wildalpen and its mountains all the way to Hochschwab.
