Borderless hiking - from Rosegger's Waldheimat to Köszeg / Styrian part
The Styrian part of the Alpannonia long-distance hiking trail, which leads from Semmering or Fischbach and the Fischbach Alps via the Hochwechsel and the Bucklige Welt to Köszeg.

- Via the Niederwechsel we reach the Wetterkoglerhaus
- At the Hochwechsel we can see practically the entire route of the main alpannonia trail
- From the Wetterkoglerhaus we descend gently via Schwaigen to the Feistritzsattel saddle
- We meet the main trail coming from Semmering
- We hike downhill and uphill mostly through forests before making the ascent to the Pfaffensattel saddle
- Now we reach the Stuhleck, the highest point of aplannonia
- Now we hike along the Pretulalpe to the Rosegger Schutzhaus
- From there we hike on the Rattener Alm, with a striking wind farm, steadily downhill to the Alpl
- From the Alpl we take a leisurely walk to the Almtor, from where we can reach the Teufelstein summit (1499m) in around 15 minutes via a turn-off
- Via the “Zellerkreuz” we reach our destination - the center of Fischbach.
