Discover interesting facts about the nature, culture and history of the Hinterberger Valley.
The route runs right through the Hinterbergertal valley along the sunny side of the high trail, from Kainisch/Radling via Knoppen, Obersdorf, Singerhauserhütte, via Simonywarte and Brentenmöser-Alm to Bergeralm and on to Tauplitz.
Information boards along the route provide information about the nature, culture and history of the valley.

The starting point Lenzbaueralm can be reached via the Salzkammergut federal highway B 145 exit Kainisch and further over the Radlingpass (direction Bad Aussee). At the highest point on the Radling Pass, follow the Lenzbauernalm sign.
The Hinterberger Panorama Trail starts at the 1st information board at the Lenzbauernalm. You hike along forest roads and over meadow and forest paths to the 2nd information board Bauernhalt. Slightly uphill you follow the hiking trail across the Mischenir meadow and through forest and meadows again slightly downhill to the 3rd information board Singerhauserhütte. From here the relatively flat hiking trail leads to just before the center of Bad Mitterndorf, from here follow the signs to the 4th information board Simonywarte. After a short descent, hike steadily uphill through the forest to the Brentenmöser-Alm and via the Bergeralm downhill again to the 5th information board Furtberg. From here the asphalt side road leads to the center of Tauplitz.
Gastronomiebetriebe entlang der Strecke laden zum Rasten und Verweilen ein.
There is only limited parking available at the Lenzbaueralm. There are additional parking facilities at the Radlingpass.
