BlocSpot - in the heart of the Murtal offers you on over 1000m² ground and 600m² climbing area about 110 different colored boulder problems, which are renewed weekly.
With our difficulty scale there is always something for beginners as well as for pros. If you just want to come train to get better, you will find it at our Kilterboard, a standardized training wall, which is controlled by app. We also have everything the heart desires for families. The friendly and bright children's area, for example, invites especially the younger ones among us to let off steam and gain their first bouldering experience. If you want to have a drink after a session, you are welcome to talk to us, the locals, and talk shop. Even someone who is just starting out or someone who just wants to get better can certainly learn a lot at one of our courses, which are run by licensed staff. But what is bouldering actually?
Bouldering is stress- and rope-free climbing at jumping heights up to a maximum of 4.50m. You are secured by a 30cm thick foam mat. Neither experience nor equipment is necessary. Climbing shoes are available for rent on site. We have about 110 color-coded boulders, which vary in difficulty. Our team creates new boulders every week, so it is never boring. Thus, there is an endless supply of possible "boulder problems"!
And bouldering is not only something for professionals! No matter what physical conditions you bring with you, anyone can boulder. There are several difficulty levels and so there is something for everyone.
Bouldering trains the whole body. Through the various movements during bouldering almost all muscle groups are addressed. Bouldering, especially in a group, does not feel like a hard workout, but rather like a pleasant time with friends in a cozy atmosphere and good mood. For children, for example, climbing is completely natural and instinctive. In the area specially designed for children, they can playfully discover the world of bouldering without fear of heights or falling. The colorful handles, which lead to an unusual tunnel slide built into the climbing wall, invite children to go all out so that parents can enjoy the evening a little more relaxed.
