The Schneeberg Chapel is a popular destination for excursions and offers a breathtaking view of the Pölstal valley.
The Schneebergerhaus is located at around 1,300 meters above sea level in the center of the Schneeberger area. Originally, the property consisted of a residential house, a stable building and a chapel. Today, only the listed residential building and the chapel remain.
The house shows the typical building style of the region with a wide porch, the “Labn”, in the middle. The first floor is made of quarry stone masonry, while the upper floor is made of chopped log walls in the eastern part and also of quarry stone in the western part. The steep roof with a hipped roof rounds off the appearance.
