The "Schützenverein Aichfeld-Murboden" was founded in 1973 with its headquarters in the former municipality of Maria Buch-Feistritz - now Weißkirchen. The area of the shooting range is on the property of Mrs. Princess Croy, to whom we are very grateful for her support, near the family castle about 1 km after the town of Zeltweg in the direction of Fisching/Weißkirchen. The purpose of the association is the training, promotion and exercise of all aspects of hunting and sport shooting. The following disciplines are shot with the shotgun on clay targets on the existing facility:
Stand 1 (alternately according to the calendar): Universal Trap - UT (15m) / Austrian Universal Trap - AUT (10m) Automatic Trap - AT (15m) / Austrian Automatic Trap - AAT (10m) Double trap - DT Compac Sporting - CPS At CPS, hunting situations are simulated with at least six throwing machines (each with a fixed throwing direction) on the existing facility. This discipline is also interesting for the pure hunter as it offers good training for hunting small game.
Stand 2 (alternately according to the calendar): Austrian Automatic Trap - AAT (10m) Olympic Skeet - OSK / Austrian Skeet - ASK Compac Sporting - CPS Hunting course – PC
Stand 3 is a closed area especially for young hunters or beginners, there only a straight rising trap disc is thrown and shot at. At the tipping hare stand, the shot at a tipping hare crossing in 30m can be practiced. The classification of the disciplines per shooting day and the official dates can be seen in our shooting calendar (see menu item "Dates"). Ammunition is available at the stand - rental weapons on request with advance notice. Various competitions such as state championships and club championships etc. are held in all disciplines offered. Visitors, guests and day members are always welcome. In the event of an event, after consultation with the club management, there is the possibility of taking part in the respective competitions either out of competition or in a guest rating. On request, after consultation with the club management, smaller group training sessions or individual training sessions can also be organized, or if the number of participants is large enough, the practice stand or stand 2 can also be reserved. We also have a cozy rifle club, where the physical well-being of the riflemen and guests of our club is taken care of. The rifle club Aichfeld-Murboden is looking forward to your visit.
