Waldschule Knittelfeld

The Knittelfeld Forest School is an environmental education center and was built on the grounds of the Kinderfreundehube in a forest clearing at an altitude of 1,000 meters. On the first floor, a woodworking and research workshop invite visitors to get creative.

On the second floor, forest animals can be admired up close. Forest educators teach children about forestry aspects and ecological relationships in an age-appropriate manner. The focus is on joyful, fun, experimental and active learning.

For adventure days lasting several days, the Kinderfreundehube is available for overnight stays.
