Past the department store cross the main road, you have now arrived at the sports center in Merkendorf. Here you have the possibility to shoot bow, to play soccer or to shoot stick. A field path takes you to Waldsberg, where you can stop by the Wurzinger winegrower for a cellar tour (registration is requested). From Waldsberg, walk in the direction of Kaargebirge and Trautmannsdorf. In Trautmannsdorf, you will pass the riding arena until you almost reach the center of the village. From there you run or walk on the direct way to Bad Gleichenberg further in the direction of Gleichenberg village. Now you come to another challenging section. This tour takes you back to Bad Gleichenberg via the Eselweg, which is a narrow forest hiking trail. As a conclusion you cross the gorge - attention - please pay attention to your surefootedness - and come back to the starting point.
