- From Hartberg railway station along Bahhofstrasse to the Rot Kreuz Chapel past the Schnitzelwirt, via Stefan Seedochallee past the Hartberg stadium and the Evengelian Church via the B54 to Rochusplatz and the duck pond, the Rochus Column and St. Nepomuk. Via Wiener Straße (Steinerne Fluss, Grossschädl Inn) to Hartberg's main square with the city parish church, St. Mary's Column, the Carner, and St. Martin's statue. Via Hofgasse to the Hartberg Museum and via Reckgasse to the Reck Tower in the city park. Here a plaque commemorates the terrible events of early May 1945.
- Here we come to the Austrian Borderland Trail 07, whose markings we follow to Bad Waltersdorf. Via the Kernstockplatz past the Heiliger Nepomuk and the monastery church into the Grazerstrasse. Pass the crucifixion group, the Salchinger Kreuz, Hansi's Bierstube, the Hotel Pusswald guesthouse and continue to the provincial hospital. Here we walk past the Pack Inn and the Lebing Church until we cross the shady Ziegelwald forest after the Graben Inn and a view of the Ecopark. In Oberbuch we pass the chapel and go under the motorway until we reach the Falk inn. From here we cross the railway and leave the road to St. Magdalen at the crossroads and follow the path up through the forest. After the ascent we come to the Manschenkreuz shortly before St. Magdalen. With a panoramic view you can see the Schöckl, Kulm, Rabenwald, Ringkogel, Masenberg and the Wechsel.
Hartberg's city centre as well as the Karner and the church are well worth seeing.
