On the Murtalstraße S36, take the Knittelfeld Ost exit or the St. Lorenzen exit and follow the signs to Kobenz.

We start at the municipality in Kobenz and cross the busy L518 road and ride a few metres to the left before turning right onto the forest road. Now we cycle slightly uphill on a tarmac road through a small wooded area with little traffic and farms with alpaca meadows to Neuhofen. Shortly before reaching our beautiful destination of Seckau, we come to the L517 country road.

A visit to Seckau Abbey is well worthwhile. For a refreshment stop, we recommend the beautiful Hofwirt guest garden next to the abbey or the excellent Regner patisserie. On the return journey, you can fortify yourself with a good pizza at Gasthof Rainer in Kobenz.

The tour can also be travelled by ÖBB from Knittelfeld station.
