MTB - Tour 67d - Steinplan starting from Gobernitz

This MTB tour starts in Gobernitz at junction 65 and leads right into the Geierleitengraben. After a few km on the asphalt road it goes straight steeply uphill on a gravel road mostly in the forest to the Steinplangipfel at 1670m with its great view in the adventure region Murtal. Don't miss to take a photo of the bike and summit cross. At the Schutzhaus you will be spoiled with a good snack, roast pork or strudel on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the unique panoramic view. The Steinplan Schutzhaus is open on weekends from spring to late autumn. From May to June it is closed on Monday. A beautiful lounge with a view of the summit cross invites then nevertheless great to stay. The descent leads indentically downhill from the Steinplan.
