Tour 13a - MTB - Schlapfkogel via Allerheiligen

This beautiful tour leads from Fohnsdorf in the Murtal adventure region in Styria towards Pöls with an ascent in the Allerheiligengraben to the popular Stoxreiter cider tavern and on to the Schlapfkogel.

This beautiful tour leads from Fohnsdorf main square bike junction 20 west past Kumpitz to Allerheiligengraben bike junction 11. Now turn right uphill on a light gravel road to the popular Mostschenke bike junction 10 with great views of the Murtal valley. On the left side, this tour leads along beautiful alpine meadows further uphill to the Schlapfkogel in the Murtal adventure region in Styria. The way back is the same as far as the Stoxreiter cider tavern, from where you can either take the same forest path back or choose the difficult variant to the left along the Hödlmoser path via a challenging trail back to Fohnsdorf.

This mountain bike tour starts at the main square. Along the main road you head west to Allerheiligen. In the hollow, turn right onto a forest road, past the Stoxreiter snack bar to the Schlapfkogel, a hill from where you can overlook large parts of the Murtal valley. The way back is the same as far as the Stoxreiter cider tavern, from there you can either take the same forest road back or choose the difficult variant to the left along the Hödlmoser path via a challenging trail back to Fohnsdorf.

Why not round off your bike tour with a jug of cider and a snack of homemade delicacies at the "Stoxi = Mostschänke Stoxreiter"?
