The popular Austrian cabaret artist Andreas Vitasek presents his new program “Spätlese”, in which he dissects the present with sharp-witted humour and a pinch of nostalgia.
With his characteristic wit, Vitasek takes aim at current topics such as climate protection, the pandemic and artificial intelligence, while at the same time taking a tongue-in-cheek look at the past. The mature but by no means serious artist allows himself excursions into supposedly better times and reflects on his own development from a child in Favoriten to a resident of the posh diplomatic quarter. He skillfully interweaves personal anecdotes with socio-critical observations and even allows an old acquaintance to reappear, promising the audience an entertaining and thought-provoking evening.
