In Febuary 2025, the Styrian cross-country skiing hotspot will become a biathlon mecca for one day.
Under the guidance of former ÖSV athletes Sumann, Mesotitsch and Eberhard, small groups will train both the skating technique on the cross-country ski trail and precision on the laser shooting range at the original distance of 50 meters. " Running technique, fitness training and of course the shooting range: we want to teach the individual elements of the biathlon sport at the nordic skills day." says Eberhard from Salzburg. Individually tailored test material from the Nordic world market leader Fischer and an elective course from the Austrian wax specialist HWK for all participants round off the biathlon experience at around 1.200 meters above sea level.
