Nechnitz-Runde über Holzskulpturenweg, Nechnitz
The beautiful but challenging path leads from Nechnitz up to the Gschaidberg/Nock with a wonderful panoramic view. Once at the top, you hike back to Nechnitz.
The high plateau in Nechnitz already offers wonderful views of the Schöckl or the Rote Wand, where you can see the pronounced red color, especially in the morning. It goes along the challenging wooden sculpture path, past more than 45 wooden figures made by chainsaw carver Erich Haider Harrer, up to the Gschaidberg/Nock. Once you arrive at the summit cross, you get a panoramic view. A board explains the surrounding mountains and elevations. The path then leads back to Nechnitz, where the alpine farmer Haider or the Gasthof Frankenhof are waiting for you to stop off.
