Lamingsteig

The "Lamingsteig" is located in Tragöß - St. Katharein | Adventure and Sports Region ERZBERG LEOBEN.
The Laming-Platzl in the Tragöß district of Großdorf is the start of the Lamingsteig. First, the idyllic path leads through a shady birch avenue directly along the Laming River. If you walk further along the trail in the forest, you will come to the legendary Galgenwald.

History: In 1960, the abbess of Göß, Maria Johanna Countess Kollonitsch, acquired the Tragöß long court from the town of Bruck an der Mur. A gallows was erected between Großdorf and Oberort, and the three mighty stone pillars have been preserved to this day. However, it is uncertain whether an execution ever actually took place there.
