Nature & culture experience trail "Thinking about the future' (Zukunft spazierendenken)

Open
A theme trail for young and old, which makes it possible to experience the surroundings of the Rogner Bad Blumau spa at 11 experience stations. A trail entirely in keeping with the motto: "Thinking about the future on foot".
The Nature and Culture Experience Trail takes you around the spa and into the village of Bad Blumau, passing 11 interactive stations that encourage you to think about the future. The circular trail is laid out in the form of a figure-eight loop, signposted in both directions and partly barrier-free. With two entry points, you can decide whether to start in the village or at the Bad Blumau spa. In the village there is the square built in honor of Robert Rogner and Friedensreich Hundertwasser. Regarding the spa, it is important to know that originally in the 70s they were drilling for oil. Instead of oil, 100° hot water was found at a depth of about 2800 meters. This was the origin of Rogner Bad Blumau, which was opened in 1997 and is the result of a successful cooperation between the two people mentioned above. The Rogner Bad Blumau is a total work of art that can be experienced, in which man, water, nature and architecture have been combined into a harmonious whole.

Detailed information about the journey you can find here.
We start at the entrance to the Rogner Bad Blumau spa and walk along the parking lot in a northerly direction. The hiking trail leads directly along the Safen River until we reach an asphalt road. We turn left over the bridge and continue to the crossroads in Schwarzmannshofen where we turn left again. After about 200 m we turn right into a side road. Now follows a very nice piece of forest. Along a forest road we hike slightly up and down to the station "The almost 1,000-year-old oak" and further to the forest playground. Continuing on the back side of the spa area, we soon reach the asphalt road, where we go left along the sidewalk to the next intersection. On the right, slightly uphill, until we reach the station "Kraut-Funding & Seed-Bombing" near the church. We walk through the center of Bad Blumau, past the station "A "real" farm", and continue along the main road towards the south. Shortly after an intersection with a wayside shrine, we pass the station "Heumitzi & Wiesentoni" on the left. A short stretch of path across meadows and fields and then we turn left, go straight on, past the station "BIO-Apfel con Funghi", to the center of Bad Blumau. At the municipal office we cross the river Safen on a small wooden bridge. Then turn left along the gravelled path until you reach the adventure stations "Lauchscharf & bibergeil" and "Invisible messages". Already after a short time we see the "Bad Blumauer wheel of life". Continuing in the direction of the spa, we reach the "Band of Diversity" station. Now a detour into the spa area to the station "Paradise lost" and we reach our starting point again.

The circular trail is signposted in both directions. The nature and culture experience trail "Thinking about the future" can also be walked with children, because there are many stations where there is something to try out. With slightly older children or their partner there are question and answer games. Many panels and information to read and learn new things about the environment or copulation of apple varieties.
