This year, AIMS is building a “beautiful, large birdhouse” as part of the traditional operetta concert for the LIONS Club at the Kunsthaus Weiz.
The story of an ornithologist from Hungary, who falls in love with a curbside swallow, offers space for music about plumage of all kinds. As in the previous year, soprano Elisabeth Schwarz from the Vienna Volksoper will lead through the program, which will be musically directed for the first time by Alfred Eschwé, Europe's most accomplished operetta conductor. A musical flight of fancy is therefore guaranteed!
