On November 3, the faraway world comes directly to Pöllau!

Photographer and designer Michael Fischer presents this year's calendar in the refectory under the motto “Dear greetings from somewhere” and has exciting stories from his adventures on the Silk Road in his luggage. Silk Road? Where was that again? Well, Michael didn't really know before his trip. True to the motto “the proof of the pudding is in the eating” and with his camera in his rucksack, he crossed (and rode through) Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in spring.

Without jet lag and delayed buses, the journey starts on November 3 in the form of pictures and stories through this lesser-known part of the world. Afterwards, the new edition of the “Greetings from Somewhere” calendar will be presented - with many places, including those on the Silk Road, that you may never have heard of. The net proceeds from the calendar will once again go to families in the Pöllau Valley who need support.
