La Strada: Circa Tsuica - Crying out loud

Cheptel Aleïkoum is an interdisciplinary collective made up of artists from many disciplines. When they are not touring the world, they live as a community in Saint Agil, a small village in the west of France. This is where the group distils their circus skills and creates productions at the interface between brass music, percussion and acrobatics. Circa Tsuïca is the musical offshoot of this extraordinary troupe. The name alone gives an idea of what they are aiming for: “tsuïca” is the Romanian word for schnapps and refers to the festive spirit inherent in their creations. They combine amazing skills with live music and create a playground where humor meets breathtaking acrobatic tricks.
