There is a lot to discover on the Schöckl, which borders Graz on one side and the Passailer Kessel in the Almenland Nature Park on the other. There are numerous hiking trails and cycle routes leading up to the summit and a downhill bike route back down again. The mountain railroad, which starts in St. Radegrund, takes guests and cyclists up to the top.
Our hiking tip is the Schöckl loop road, which takes you from the Schöcklkreuz to Semriach, St. Radegund and of course to the summit of the Schöckl.
Once at the top, there is a barrier-free hiking trail, plenty of places to stop for refreshments, the summer toboggan run, the opportunity to play disc golf and a motor skills park. Many also take the opportunity to take off or land with a paraglider.
Further information, such as the current weather, what other activities there are to discover and the best places to stop off, can be found on the Hodling Graz website.
