Bairisch Kölldorf 2

We start at the largest fire station in Bairisch Kölldorf, walk past the kindergarten, the fairy tale castle, up the hill to enjoy the view. This route is an excellent walking route for trained and offers great viewpoints into the southeast Styrian volcanic country.
This scenic walking or running route offers numerous vantage points in the picturesque landscape of the Thermen- & Vulkanland. The observation tower on the Albrechtshöhe invites you to stop for a break. Along the way you will also find several wine taverns that will be happy to spoil you with culinary delights.

This round is next to the Dörferlauf (variant 2) the most demanding of the marked routes. It starts at the fire department Bairisch Kölldorf (largest fire truck in the world) and leads over several very steep ascents and descents, for example to the Albrechtshöhe, where a lookout tower is ideal for a short break, or over Absetz. Here, in good weather, the view extends to Kapfenstein and beyond. From here on, the path largely descends. This route leads us alternately over gravel and asphalt. Through the Eichgraben and the Schaufelgraben the ground is partly earthy and especially in autumn covered with leaves. Bairisch Kölldorf 2 is a very nice walking route and only suitable for very well trained as a running route.
Enjoy the view at the Parapluie at the lookout!
