More information
- The trail begins at the Greinbach sports field in Neudorf. We cross the Wechselbundesstraße B54 and there is an ascent past a sign indicating a Russian scout post in the forest. Some benches are set up along the path. On the hill in the forest we pass the Fuchs Cross before we come to an open field with a view of Wolfgrub. Now we follow the path down to Wolfgrub where the Herbersteinbründl reveals some interesting information about the history of Wolfgrub. At the crossroads opposite is the Oswald Cross.
- Then we follow the road for a while, cross the Greinbach on the bridge, pass the Aubach cross, before we climb through the forest to the Müllner Martel. From here we walk through the forest and an old hollow way to the Penzendorfbach, also called "Galgenbach", which we follow back to Neudorf. At the Fischer sawmill, we keep to the right and return to our starting point, the Greinbach sports field, via the plague cross in Neudörfl.
On some days of the year, the Buschenschank Handler in Wolfgrub (approx. 1 km off the trail) is open.
For cooling off in the summer months, the Greini Freizeitsee, which is not far from the hiking route, is recommended.
