Gipfeltour über die Vorauer Schwaig

From the Hilmtor starting point, the trail leads steadily uphill to the Vorauer Schwaig and from there on to the summit of the Hochwechsel.
On this tour you can experience the centerpiece of the Styrian Wexl Trails, the Vorauer Schwaig Trail, both uphill and downhill.

Directions - By car
  • via the Südautobahn (A2) to the Pinggau exit
  • at the traffic circle take the 3rd exit
  • along the B54 in the direction of Graz/Hartberg
  • Take the Friedberg exit
  • Follow the main road to the Thonet Museum
  • then turn onto Schwaighofstraße
  • pass the Gasthaus Panoramastüberl until you reach the Hilmtor rest area
The tour is signposted throughout.
