Nice, not very difficult alpine tour starting from Niederalpl with refreshments.

From Mariazell on the B 20 to Wegscheid, in Wegscheid turn left onto the L 113.
Journey time Mariazell - Niederalpl: approx. 25 minutes
From the pass Niederalpl on the long-distance trail 405 we walk about 20 minutes to the Wetterinalm (Sennhütte). The first part on a narrow path across the meadow, then on a forest road to the hut.
At the Wetterinalm we branch off to the left, then we continue for about 40 minutes to the summit cross at 1,530m.
From the summit cross you have a very beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

For those who are planning a longer hike, we recommend e.g. the 7 points trail from Niederalpl to Mariazell!

What the weather will be like
Mariazell (860m)
Rain and rain showers will end around noon. Dry with a chance of sunny spells afterwards.
Variable cloudiness with frequent sunny spells. Scattered showers will be possible around noon.
