PSALM festival

From March 24 to April 1, Graz opens its doors for a festival that explores the profound cycle of endings and beginnings. This unique cultural event invites visitors to contemplate the essential questions of life through a carefully curated selection of musical performances.

The "PSALM" festival in Graz, inspired by "Graz 2003 - European Capital of Culture", has been celebrating the profound themes of death and resurrection for over two decades. With a focus on the cycles of life and the new beginnings associated with them, especially at Easter time, "PSALM 2024" expands this focus under the motto "Circles of Life". It explores the connection between the cycles of nature, the universe and human existence, reflects on the synchronization of solar, lunar and annual cycles and emphasizes the possibility of new beginnings through musical narratives, including a special night of Bach's piano cycles.
