HWW-Bicycle route: Dechantskirchen - St. Lorenzen/Wechsel - Bruck/Lafnitz - Rohrbach (circular trail)
This HWW cycle route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW cycle route leads from Dechantskirchen via Thalberg, Burgfeld and St. Lorenzen/Wechsel to Bruck an der Lafnitz and from there via Koglerauerhof and Rohrbach/Lafnitz and Kroisbach back to Dechantskirchen. Along the HWW cycle route, you pass the HWW station Bruck an der Lafntz, where you can read about the special position the small village on the Lafnitz once had in the power supply.

Directions - By car
- via the Südautobahn (A2) to the Pinggau exit
- at the traffic circle take the 3rd exit
- along the B54 towards Graz/Hartberg
- turn left onto Dechantskirchen
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
- The route starts in Dechantskirchen.
- The ride continues from Dechantskirchen to Thalberg.
- The route continues to St. Lorenzen am Wechsel and Bruck an der Lafnitz:
- The return journey to Kroisbach begins from Rohrbach an der Lafnitz.
- The circular tour ends back in Dechantskirchen.
We recommend a visit to Festenburg Castle, which is located close to the cycle tour.
