From Mariazell we go via Mitterbach and the Schindelgraben to the idyllic Hubertussee. Then via the Rechengraben back to Mariazell.
The Hubertussee circuit takes us past clear lakes and deep forests, high mountains and rushing streams. Here you can explore the Mariazell region in all its beauty on a mountain bike.

Via the Westautobahn (A1 from Salzburg or Vienna) to the exit Ybbs or St. Pölten/Süd, then B 20 to Mariazeller Land.
From the south to Bruck/Mur - Kapfenberg, then B 20 over the Seebergpass into Mariazeller Land.
We start in St. Sebastian and drive on the B20 in the direction of Mitterbach. Shortly after the Erlauf reservoir in Mitterbach we turn right at the first bend onto the forest road (marked "Hubertussee-Runde"). Over the Schindelsattel (ascent) we continue towards Fadental. Passing the Hubertussee we go through the Rechengraben and along the Walster again to the junction with the B21. Here turn right towards Mariazell and over the last climb - the Kreuzberg - back to Mariazell and on to St. Sebastian.
If you want to make a detour into the town, turn right at the junction towards the center and continue via Mariazell's main square and Grazerstraße into Dr. Ludwig Leber Gasse back onto the bypass road (B20) to St. Sebastian.
