Climatic health resorts in Styria
Inhale, exhale – and relax. The climatic health resorts of Styria are known for their excellent air quality and their pleasant climate.
Just like for any climatic spa, there are several criteria you have to fulfil in order to be named a “pure air spa”, among them air quality, pollen concentration, hours of sunshine and number of foggy days.
Thanks to the crisp mountain air, these types of alpine resorts boast significantly less pollutants, exhaust fumes and pollen than resorts down in the valley or in major cities. That’s why stays at more than 1,000 metres above sea level are particularly beneficial to people suffering from allergies or asthma.
