In addition to our farm store and the show cellar, there is also a photo exhibition. This can be visited with pleasure. "Of course there will be a tasting!"
The distillery of the Krenn family has been refining apples, Christ Williams pears, peaches and grapes into noble KRENAC brandies in barrel aging or as clear brandies since 1998. The fruit is distilled according to the rules of the French Cognac and Calvados distilleries. The storage takes place in barrique wood barrels. Only selected fruit is processed into mash and fermented in stainless steel vats. To preserve the strong fruit aromas, the mash is distilled immediately after fermentation using the classic double distillation process. Particular emphasis is placed on separating the pre- and post-fermentations to extract the heart, the middle run. The middle run is stored in Vulkanland wooden barrels (225 liters) made of cherry, oak or chestnut. However, fruit liqueurs and liqueurs made from barrel-aged noble spirits are also produced, such as the barrel-aged coffee, vanilla and orange liqueur.
