About the region
In winter, the Galsterberg sets the pulses of all winter sports fans racing in anticipation. Perfectly groomed pistes, a 5 km long sled run and winter hiking paths through nature blanketed deep in snow promise pure enjoyment for big and small! In summer, too, the Galsterberg is a popular excursion destination for families. On the Galsterberger Alm, for example, you will discover a colony of very inquisitive marmots. Traditional huts, where you are greeted by delicious Styrian cuisine and warm hospitality, can be found in Sattental, a natural paradise for the whole family. Alongside the River Enns, not only will you encounter the R7 bike path, but also beautiful footpaths and secluded bays drawing recreation seekers and nature lovers!
