Following the Footsteps of "Die Bergretter"

From the Ramsau center hiking portal, you start up into the town and walk briefly along the main street to Intersport Bachler. Here you go up Kirchengasse where you immediately reach the mountain rescue headquarters in Ramsau Ort, directly opposite the Hotel Pehab.

Just above the headquarters is the Ramsau am Dachstein Protestant Church - another setting for the popular series. Past the Ramsau am Dachstein municipal office, you walk above the cemetery over to Friedhofstrasse, which you then hike up to the Knoll fork in the road. To the left is the Hotel & Restaurant Knollhof. The path leads you past the right side of the hotel and takes you along the idyllic panoramic path to the Hotel Lärchenhof. Here you follow the road a few meters up to the Hotel Lindenhof and turn left after the hotel onto the path. After a short forest passage, turn left towards Pernerhof, better known as "Emilies Hof". You will reach this in a few minutes.

After a short rest, you take the path back to the Hotel Lindenhof, but continue straight on, past the Ramsbergerhof and across a small stream to the Feldlhof. There you walk down the street and get back to Friedhofsstraße. Finally, we recommend a visit to the impressive Ramsau Protestant Church or the Zeitroas Museum.
