An illustrated radio play by Christoph Huber
As part of the multi-year cultural project “Signal vom Dachstein”, photographer Christoph Huber has taken an intensive artistic look at the alpine culture and history of the Dachstein. This has now resulted in an illustrated radio play.
Christoph Huber was delighted and grateful at how willingly all the voice actors he asked for his project took part:
“Both professional actors and voice actors such as Wolfram Berger and Lukas Walcher as well as many amateurs; from 4-year-old children to ladies over 90 years old; simply everyone agreed and enthusiastically took part and lent their voices to the radio play!”
Musician Klaus Meissnitzer also took part, composing, arranging, playing and recording ten pieces of music especially for this radio play:
“It's incredible how impressively Klaus has managed to create musical sounds to accompany this beautiful and rugged landscape - you can feel the mist drifting over the mountain ridges as you listen,” says Huber.
The illustrated radio play will ONLY be available at live performances.
“There's not much room for supposed alpine romanticism in my play. Any hints of such clichés are quickly destroyed by reality.”
