In the Bromriesenstollen, you can experience what it must have felt like back then to earn your living under the most difficult conditions. In the dark, equipped only with headlamps, you are guided into the tunnel system by the tunnel guide via ladders. The mining methods of the time, such as setting fires, chisel work and blasting, are still recognisable today. The unique ‘underground’ experience allows you to immerse yourself in the mystical life of the miners. The interplay of awe and queasy stomach tingling has prompted many a visitor to enter the mountain once again: Good luck! There is no more impressive way to experience history!
