For many it is still an insider tip, for others it is already an annual tradition that focuses on a new theme every year. This year, kindergarten and school children will be able to experience the process from wool fleece to sock up close in class.

The starting point is the restored old mill in Rössing. From there, the route follows the decorated and illuminated Hofrat-Gruber-Weg and the idyllic Philosophenweg - past the places where 9 of Ramsau's 64 watermills once stood - to the Waldschenke in Ramsau Ort.
Atmospheric sounds, traditional crafts and delicious farmhouse bread made from locally grown grain are just a few of the "treasures" along the way. So let me spoil you with lovingly prepared delicacies and the menu of the rustic and cozy Waldschenke.
