Courage for modernity.
Contemporary architecture in one of the youngest churches in Styria. Rock, glass and wood in an extraordinary synthesis. In 1985 the architect Volker Gienke was commissioned to plan a church including a vicarage. The church was consecrated on 3 May 1992. In its ground plan the church corresponds to an unequal polygon. The construction of the 600 m² grassed roof is remarkable. The tower is a glass-clad steel construction consisting of three elements.
