Visit the home of the famous poet Paula Grogger, who was born on 12 July 1892 in Öblarn as the daughter of an iron and machine dealer. At first she attended the Ursuline teacher training college in Salzburg and then entered the school service, which she performed in Wörschach, Schladming, Niederöblarn and Öblarn.
She began writing at an early age. She achieved her literary breakthrough with the novel "Das Grimmingtor", written between 1918 and 1925. Grogger's second major work was the dramatic poem "Die Hochzeit" ("The Wedding"), which was first performed in Öblarn in 1936.
