The ski tour across the Hallstatt Glacier to the Upper Eissee.
In addition to the Dachstein crossing, the Hallstatt glacier invites you to ski down in open terrain. The most popular descent is via the middle glacier tongue to the Upper Eissee, from where a short ascent leads back to the main route at the Simonyhütte.

The tour continues to the Simonyhütte, from where you return to the Dachstein mountain station via the groomed trail of the Dachstein crossing.
The alpine emergency number in Austria is 140 (Europe 112).
If you have no network reception, please restart your phone. However, before you enter your PIN code for the SIM card, dial the emergency number. You can also make the emergency call in other networks.
Even though there are parking spaces at the Dachstein Cable Car Station, it is recommended that you take the public bus from Schladming or Ramsau to use the gondola.
